Grenzgänger: die Wölfin: ein Ralf-Ehrlich-Roman (German)
Ralf Ehrlich is a student officer in the National People's Army of the former GDR. In his second year of studies - at the end of the 80s - he meets Sybilla Wegener, a fellow student. The taciturn and ambitious student, convinced of what he is doing, is immediately captivated by the vivacious, outgoing and contradictory woman. Worries and thoughts are far removed from the dramatic events of the coming years, revolving around her studies and her own future. But the coming changes are already casting long shadows in the fall of '87.
It is that autumn in which the two officer students rashly and naively plunge into a joint examination, a test in which nothing can actually go wrong - actually. Only, in the last years of the rusty Iron Curtain, not everything is as peaceful as it seems. Not only in the non-socialist foreign countries, as the West is still called in 1987, are there crimes.
What begins as their first adventure together suddenly becomes a fight for everything. And mistakes can be deadly...
first Ralf Ehrlich novel.
